Time Lines

    Traditionally, an assignment has a due date; in the case of a paperless Weblog, there are a series of evaluation viewing dates.  This means that there are dates after which certain items will not be viewed, and therefore, they will not be evaluated resulting in an incomplete for that task.

September:  
    □    Select a novel and read it.  Finish reading by the beginning of October.  
    □    Create your blog and invite 3 members of the class to be your Peer Editing and Response Group
    □    Begin your research and start your Links List.
    □    Copy and paste relevant research information into the various product headings for development.  Include source information.
    □    Begin to build the Works Cited page.

October:
    □    First Evaluation: Welcome Posting and Links List  – October 7th.
    □    Second Evaluation: 4 Reading Response Postings  – October 29th.
    □    Begin drafting the Apologia.
    □    Continue to post comments within the Peer Editing and Response Group.  Visit each other’s blogs       weekly.
    □    Expect random visits and comments on your work from your teacher.

November:  
    □    Assessment:  Conference: appointments scheduled during the week of November 15th.  Show and discuss the works in progress.
    □    Continue to post comments within the Peer Editing and Response Group.  Visit each other’s blogs weekly.
    □    Final Evaluation: Blog Viewing and Evaluation begins November 30th.*

        ●    Personal Reflection
        ●    Works Cited

*Please note: in accordance with the policies of the English Department regarding assignment deadlines, this deadline is final.  Any work posted after November 30 will NOT be evaluated.
